A lively personality of Kannada cinema industry Sungun Nagaraj of the technical department died in Bangalore on Thursday afternoon.

He has provided properties such as fire equipments, guns, explosives for the cinema for hundreds of films. He was very quick in arranging lorry load of equipments needed for the film shoot.  From the days of ‘Babruvahana’ Sungun Nagaraj worked for Kannada cinema industry needs.

Sungun popularly known in the Kannada film industry circle was like ‘padarasa’ in his work. At the age of 62 he developed kidney problem.

Sungun Nagaraj from the earnings of his stay in 35 years in providing set properties produced ‘Phatinga’ Kannada cinema.

Right from Ambarish this hilarious personality is known to many Kannada heroes. He leaves behind wife and two sons. The cremation is taking place on Friday according to family sources.
